  • Opened and welcomed everyone to the meeting.

 

Review Action Items from the November 1-2, 2005 Meeting

Carl Kersten, NAVFAC


Carl Kersten will follow-up on the IHS Proposal to verify the deadline - Complete
  .Carl stated the IHS proposal has been accepted and they will begin October 2006.
Carl Kersten will follow-up on Steve Freitas suggestion to have the UMRL Maintenance funded by the DoD - Complete (action covered by above)
  .The IHS contract will be funded by the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
SGS will submit an alternate proposal via email to counter the IHS proposal by Thursday, November 10, 2005 - Complete
  The counter proposal submitted by SGS was denied. As stated above the Office of the Secretary of Defense has approved and funded the IHS proposal.
  IHS will maintain the UMRL
  Unified Master Reference List (UMRL) will be updated quarterly by IHS.
Once all proposals have been submitted, Carl Kersten will follow-up with Pete Rossbach and Miguel Morales to review the proposals submitted by IHS and SGS - Complete
Maggie Muller will email the revised UFGS Sections with revisions that include NASA's recommendations to Carl Kersten, Sheron Belcher and Frank Der. They will distribute the revised UFGS Sections to the appropriate personnel. This is in reference to the Criteria Change Requests that were previously submitted and approved, but were not implemented. This was to speed up the process by going directly to the Army and Navy representatives - Complete
  Maggie Muller emailed the revised UFGS Sections to Army and Navy December 21, 2005
Carl will send out an email to all the UFGS Working Groups informing them NASA has joined the UFGS and Frank Der will be the NASA contact. NLT November 30, 2005 - Complete
Maggie Muller will email the Comparison List to NAVFAC for updating the UMRL for the April 2006 release - Completed June 24, 2005
Jennifer Horvath will email the Open Change Request Report, sorted by priority, for the Board Members to review - Complete
All agencies must convert the database to XML prior to the April 2006 release - Complete
Bob Payn will provide a link to the prototype web page for Maggie Muller to test prior to publishing - Incomplete
Jim Whitehead will provide a CD with the latest version of SpecsIntact to Carl Kersten for distribution throughout NAVFAC - Complete
Carl Kersten will publish the updated version of the UFGS 1-300-02, dated October 2004 - In Progress
  UFC 1-300-02 is in the process of being updated by Steve Freitas - see the May 1-2, 2006 UFGS Working Group Minutes for more details
Steve Freitas will email a copy of the UFGS Section template he developed to the SI-CCCB Members for consideration as a replacement for the current UFGS Section Template - In Progress
Cheryl Fitz-Simon will publish a workaround procedure in the Knowledge Base that will provide the instruction for getting Brackets in Bold or HLS - Complete
SGS/InDyne will compile a tracking chart for posting that shows the history of what sections have been merged, deleted or renumbered. This spreadsheet will combine the current "A and N Conversion List", the "UFGS Listing of Changes" and the "UFGS Listing of Changes Archives" into one Spreadsheet - In Progress
  Teleconferencing will be setup in order to establish some type of a process.

UFGS Master Template (see the UFGS Working Group minutes for more detail)
  Template will be distributed with the software and the WBDG. SI Web Site should link to it.
Tracking charts have been completed, but not published SGS has not received feedback/updates from any of the agencies.
