Problem:

When attempting to open SpecsIntact after installing, another program tries to open (e.g. AutoCAD, Autodesk, Web Album, Architectural Desktop, etc.)

Solution:

These programs use an Install on Demand feature. It typically starts when you install any application that uses this feature and (directly or indirectly)  choose "install on demand" (typically a check box labeled "This feature will be installed when required") for any of that software's components.  The problem becomes visible whenever other software (such as SpecsIntact) attempts to use the component that was marked for installation on demand.

Uninstall the offending software and SpecsIntact.  When re-installing the offending software, make sure to de-select the feature "This feature will be installed when required".  Once the installation is complete, re-install and run SpecsIntact.
